I am a UK-based filmmaker, immersive storyteller and activist from India, working on themes of Peace and Climate Justice. As an immersive storyteller, I explore narratives in Virtual and Augmented Reality, AI and Interactive Storytelling. As Global Representative (Asia) on the Youth Advisory Board for the ILC, I advocate for sustainable land governance and equitable resource distribution.
My project "DeepDive XR" (Whale Fall) is a finalist at the Sustainable Markets Initiatives' Terra Carta Design Lab 2024, and explores innovative solutions to climate education. The project Whale Fall in particular explores the impact of plastic pollution on marine ecologies. It has been showcased at IRCAM Paris, SXSW x RCA Showcase, London Breeze Film Festival 2024, Outernet Global, Natural History Museum (AMC), British Council Malaysia and BBC TV Centre. My latest work "Roots to the Universe," a 360-degree animated experience, addresses indigenous displacement due to development-driven extractivism by reimagining the story of Creation in indigenous Gond community's narratives. Roots has been awarded Official Selection at London Breeze Film Festival 2024, 'Imagined Realities' Residency at Frameless 2024-25 and will be showcased as an installation at OOTFest25 'Unseen'.
In 2019, I walked hundreds of kilometres through India and Armenia as part of the Jai Jagat Global Peace Campaign, a year-long march from Delhi to Geneva that addressed poverty, climate justice, and social inclusivity before being paused due to the pandemic. In 2021, I walked 550 kilometres from London to Glasgow (COP-26) with Pushpanath Krishnamurthy, raising awareness about Global South perspectives on climate justice. In 2022 I walked in Tamil Nadu, India from T Kalupatti to Madurai (100 km) to promote a nonviolent economy and localised economic approaches through the Ahimsa Santhai initiative.
I have been recognised by NISAU India-UK Achievers Honours as a Finalist in Arts, Culture and Entertainment in 2025, and in Patrika's '40 Under 40' changemakers list in 2023, and continue my long-standing engagement with innovative narrative experiments for Peace and Justice.
