I consider myself an AI-curious artist, very interested in AI simplifying my Sisyphean tasks, not so interested in handing it the keys to my imagination itself. I love to use AI features that clean up noisy dialogue, enhance images and improve image tracking, I also enjoy the excellent planning and organising support from AI, however, Generative AI still feels half-baked in the pursuit to deliver something genuinely creatively inspiring. There is amazing work created with Gen AI, however I would credit those to artists who are also creating amazing work in other formats already.
My journey with AI began with Dall-E (in its Beta format), then Midjourney (till my credits ran out), Skybox AI (to generate environments in 360), and of course, a mix of Chat GPT, Gemini and Le Chat Mistral for writing and building AI agents. In formal practice, I had the privilege of joining Dr Marlon Barrios Solano in 2025 for a four part workshop titled 'Harnessing Generative AI: Opportunities, Challenges and Horizons'.
Subsequently, I also had the opportunity to join the Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN) London's event: Origin: ORIGIN: A Certification Framework for Human Creativity in Generative AI, a two part workshop where we explored the principles of a decentralised thinking system, and worked together to explore AI processes, the boundaries between AI generated work, co-creation with AI, plagiarism and ownership of AI-Assisted artwork.

Other AI Explorations include Sora AI and HTC Viverse. I'm very much on the fence about Gen AI fitting into my personal workflow, since I cherish the idea of hand-crafted stories, by humans for humans, and have concerns around the envrionmental and socio-cultural impact of AI.
