Vandevi is the story of the coming-of-age and transformation of Aranya into a guardian of the woods, to save the forest and her family. The story weaves the lives of Aranya, her mother Prishni, her father Rudra, and the forest. We witness the beautiful relationship Aranya's parents share to the tragedy that tears their family apart. While grappling with the tragic past, they must take decisions to defend the forest against forces that seek to destroy it, and rediscover the value of family and relationships.
